Professor Howard will talk about changes in both the law school curriculum and in individual
professors’ approaches to teaching traditional doctrinal courses in response to the Carnegie Report’s challenge to better prepare students to use legal thinking in the complexity of actual law practice by providing students hands-on experiential learning opportunities that build lawyering skills exportable to practice right out of law school.
