UWAA Winemaker's Dinner at the UW Club
|
|
Don't miss this exclusive opportunity for UWAA members to enjoy an intimate dinner, featuring some of the Northwest's best wines from Seven Hills Winery, an established Washington winemaker. The menu has been specially paired to highlight each wine by the UW Club's Executive Chef, Jon Maley. Winery owners (and UW alumni) Casey, ’83, and Vicky McClellan, ’82, will be on hand to introduce the wines and answer questions. About the Winery: Founded in 1988, Seven Hills Winery was the Walla Walla Valley's fifth winery. It now produces 12,000 cases of premium wines each year. Seven Hills' wines are known for their balance: a trinity of fruit, acidity and tannin that makes them delicious upon release and a rewarding sensory experience as they mature. Guided by founder, winemaker and fourth generation farmer, Casey McClellan, Seven Hills Winery crafts an acclaimed portfolio of vineyard-designate and appellation-inspired wines. Focusing on benchmark Cabernet Sauvignons and Bordeaux-varietal reds from the Red Mountain and the Walla Walla Valley, the wines of Seven Hills have played an important role in establishing the region's reputation for world-class winemaking, and are recognized as some of the finest wines in the Northwest.
