Hayden.jpgDolores Hayden, professor of American Studies at Yale University, will discuss all things suburbia in her lecture, Green Fields and Growth Machines: Building American Suburbs, 1820-2000. Hayden will discuss how developers transformed the American landscape, as well as how suburban dwellers and developers have come into conflict over the past 200 years.

Dolores Hayden is a professor of architecture and urbanism, and professor of American studies at Yale University. Learn more about Hayden.
