Honor nursing and celebrate National Nurses Week at the 2014 Elizabeth Sterling Soule Lecture and annual Nurses Recognition Banquet.

The lecture will feature Dr. Hester Klopper, President of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and Chief Executive Officer of the Forum for University Nursing Deans in South Africa. Dr. Klopper will speak on Global Trends: Changing the Future of Nursing.

Following the lecture, the Nurses Recognition Banquet will honor our community's outstanding nurses and nursing leaders. The UW School of Nursing will present five awards to outstanding graduates and other exceptional individuals in the greater nursing community. This celebration affirms the strong bonds between the School of Nursing and our community partners and acknowledges the many ways the profession of nursing improves health and touches lives.
