Join us at the annual Bay Area Salmon BBQ. Enjoy an afternoon of great food and summer fun at the home of John, ’76, and Laurie, ’75, Tangney.

Connect with fellow Huskies and hear from special guest Bill Ayer, ’78, UW regent and vice chair of the UW Foundation Board. The retired chairman and chief executive officer of Alaska Air Group, Ayer is one of the UW's most influential volunteers and a proud alumnus of the UW Foster School of Business. Dr. Denzil Suite, vice president for Student Life, will also provide insight into the Husky Experience

Cost:   $25 for UWAA members; $30 for non-members
$12 for current students

Bill Ayer
  One of the UW's most influential volunteers, Bill Ayer is the retired chairman and chief executive officer of Alaska Air Group. Ayer serves on the University of Washington's Board of Regents and the UW Foundation Board. In additon to enhancing the university, he is chairman of Puget Energy and vice chair of the Museum of Flight.

Ayer earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Washington. He is immediate past chair of the UW Business School Advisory Board. (Learn more about Ayer.)
