One of only 13 Fellows elected this year, Professor Bajari joins an elite group of economic researchers from around the world, including UW Professors Stephen Turnovsky and  Charles Nelson.

Neil Bruce, a specialist in public finance, will retire at the end of autumn quarter. He joined the faculty in 1990 and was Chair of the department from 2001-2006.

This new research program at the Central Bank Research Association will connect researchers at central banks and institutions whose research considers the nexus of international trade and macroeconomics.

In her hometown of Neishabour, Dr. Salehi-Esfahani spoke to K-12 educators about the American education system.
