Early registration discounts are available through January 31; hotel reservations must be made before February 11 to guarantee rate availability. The 2015 conference will be particularly exciting, as it features 40 program sessions, making it the largest SBCA conference to date.

We are grateful for the generous conference support from the MacArthur Foundation and the George Washington University Regulatory Studies Center.

When registering, don’t forget to join or renew your SBCA membership!

We also hope you will consider sponsoring a conference event, or becoming an exhibitor or advertiser.

Attend a Professional Development Workshop

Please join us for our pre-conference professional development workshops on March 18 from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the George Washington University Marvin Center in Washington, D.C., on the following topics:

Suggest Book Exhibit Titles

Have you contributed to a book recently or read something that would be of particular interest to our members? If so, we invite you to submit the title for potential inclusion in an exhibit at the March SBCA Conference. Association Book Exhibit is providing a publishers’ co-op display of academic and professional titles. Please send your suggestions to Mark Trocchi by early February, and provide the title, author, and publisher of each work.

Submit an Abstract for the WEAI Conference (due January 23)

SBCA is participating as an allied society in the Western Economic Association International Annual Conference in Waikiki, Hawaii, from June 28 to July 2. If you are interested in presenting, please send an abstract to the SBCA Executive Director by January 23. Submissions must include contact information for the presenter and any co-authors, a title of 60 characters or fewer, a brief abstract of 350 words or fewer, and three related JEL codes. Society members interested in attending the conference may register at the WEAI member rate.
