Offered on the second Wednesday of every month at Centerpoint Institute. Career Transitions Class at Bellevue College ($)
October 29 & 30, November 5 & 6 (9 a.m.–5 p.m.)
A non-credit, two weekend class open to all to help you identify your interests and transferable skills; find career options to fit your skills and experience; and get the latest information on re-training. Offered by the Career Center at the University of Washington, this workshop encompasses three key job search topics: successful interviewing, conducting a job search, and resume & cover letter writing.

Puget Sound Business Journal is an excellent weekly resource regarding job opportunities, networking and local business trends. Of particular note is the "Who's Hiring" column in each issue, which highlights a local company with job opportunities. Companies featured in this column since our last issue of Alerts have included Coalfire Systems, Ascentium advertising company, Seattle startup Cozi, Bellevue IT startup Apptio--and various retailers including Ann Taylor, Apple, Chico's FAS, Eddie Bauer, Nordstrom, Tommy Bahama, PetSmart and Jared.
