The new Fall line-up on UW360 includes a segment
on using clean and abundant solar cells to one day power hand-held phones and other devices, and on how beekeepers at UW Farm are using natural methods to study “disappearing disease”
in bees.

farmer's markets in neighborhoods throughout Seattle are the brainchild of UW
alumna Chris Curtis ’73, founder of the Neighborhood Farmer’s Market
Alliance. To learn more, see the Northeast and Southeast sections of the UW in

In the first year that nurses were included in the annual survey
of Seattle’s Best Doctors by Seattle Metropolitan magazine, top-ranked UW School
of Nursing alumni represented over 50% of the top-ranked nurses.
